Grace Im is a senior at Farragut High School. She began playing the violin in 2014 after joining the Hart Strings Studio. Grace is a first violinist in the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra and has been a member of KSYO for the past 10 years. In addition to performing, she enjoys sharing music with others and volunteers as a violin teacher at Joy of Music School. Grace is also a member of the Farragut High School Orchestra and performed in the All-East Orchestra during her senior year. Outside of music, she is involved in HOSA and volunteers at her church's Korean school. Grace is not yet committed to a school, but she plans to study Medical Humanities on the pre-med track at the University of Tennessee or Purdue University. She is grateful to her private teacher, Ms. Kathy, and family for their endless encouragement and support throughout her musical journey.
