Jaeli Kanko is a senior at Oak Ridge High School who has been playing the double bass with KSYO for 3 years. Throughout her 6 years of playing double bass, she has been a member of ORHS Orchestra, multiple TNMEA honors ensembles, KSYO, Maryville College-Community Concert Band, Oak Ridge Youth Orchestra, Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra’s Fellowship program, and multiple Tri-M chamber ensembles. She has also attended MTSU’s Governor's School for the Arts and Towson University’s Bass Works. She plans to major in Music Performance in the fall. Jaeli would like to thank her family, friends, teachers, mentors, and everyone who has supported her through her passion of music.
