Jacob Poling is a high school trombonist who has been playing for 6 years. This is his first year in the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra and he has participated in the Knoxville Jazz Youth Orchestra for two years, All State Wind Ensemble for two years, and the All-State Jazz band this year. He plans to attend the University of North Texas in the fall to pursue a Jazz Performance degree. Outside of rehearsal Jacob enjoys composing music, mountain biking, and eating good food.
