Katie Ray has played violin with the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestras since first grade, amounting to twelve consecutive seasons with the KSYO. A soon-to-be graduate of the Webb School of Knoxville, Katie is a member of the National Honor Society, Tri - M Honor Society, an AP Scholar with distinction, and on the varsity cheerleading team. She is co-President and concertmaster of the Webb School Orchestra and has performed with the TMEA All-East Orchestra for six years. Katie has been blessed to have had many incredible teachers to guide and encourage her along the way, most notably Ms. Kathy Hart, who has been a coach, mentor, counselor, and most of all, a friend. Katie plans to attend the University of Tennessee in the fall and would love to thank her family and friends for their constant love and support.
