Abigail Arsenault is a senior graduating with honors from Rivers Edge Christian Academy. She has played the violin since the age of four and has been with the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra since the age of six. Abby also enjoys playing the piano and leading worship at her church. Abby placed first place at the local and state levels of Tennessee Association of Christian Schools fine arts competition playing the piano and violin. Abby also had the opportunity and pleasure of concertmaster for the Sinfonia several years ago. Since the age of four, Abby has studied with Kathy Hart, who is not only the best violin teacher, but also like a second mom to Abby in the studio. Abby plans to attend the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY in the fall to study Psychology. Although the college does not have a string program, she plans to sing with the choral ensemble and hopefully will have opportunities to lead worship through the ministries offered through the college. Music has always been such a large part of Abby’s life, and she prays the Lord will use it in her future path.
