Layken Kemp is graduating with honors from Harriman High School and has been in the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra for five years. Unfortunately, her school does not have an orchestra program, so she has loved being part of this association and learning from Katie Liaw. This fall, Layken will be attending Middle Tennessee State University majoring in Forensic Science while also pursuing a minor in Music, made possible by her cello scholarship.
