Madison Romain is a senior at Hardin Valley Academy. She has played viola for seven years under the instruction of Jennifer Vantol and has played with the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra for six years. Madison also participates in the fine arts program at her high school with Musical Theater. At her school, Madison is President of student council, Vice President of the National Honor Society, a founder of Hardin Valley Academy’s Black Student Union, and an All-State track athlete. Outside of school, Madison enjoys hurdling, writing, listening to music, and trying new foods. Madison will graduate in the top 10% of her class and plans to attend Stanford University to major in either Bioengineering or Environmental Engineering, as well as run track.
