Anyiel Adiang is a senior at Maryville High School. She has been playing the flute for eight years, and this is her first time serving as principal flute in the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra. She has been a member of the Maryville High School chamber orchestra for two years, and the marching band for four years, where she served as the school's first black drum major, and received ETSBOA's All East and All State placement. She intends to enroll at East Tennessee State University this fall as a Rehabilitative Health Science Major and minor in American Sign Language. She would like to express her gratitude to Alexander Nichols, Noah Tuten, Jonathan Leichman, and Adam Ford for their tremendous assistance they have provided in both her musical studies and the development of her leadership qualities.
