Elizabeth Cathey is a senior at Bearden High School. She has played the violin for seven years, and this is her fifth year studying under Mary Ann Fennell and performing in the KSYOA. She has also been a member of the ETSBOA All East and All State orchestras. In addition to violin, Elizabeth runs cross country and track and is involved in many other organizations at her school, including Key Club and National Honor Society. She hasn’t committed to a college yet, but she plans to attend either University of Tennessee Knoxville, University of Georgia, or Clemson University, where she will double major in food science and nutrition. She is very grateful for her time in the KSYOA and would like to thank Ms. Mary Ann, her family, and everyone else who has supported her along the way.
