Raina Desai is a senior at Farragut High School. This is her ninth year with the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra Association as a violinist. She has played violin for twelve years under the instruction of Penka Spaulding and Miro Hristov. Outside of music, she is a competitive swimmer on her high school and club team. She plans to major in Public Health in an early assurance medical school program. She will continue playing violin as a hobby and is grateful for the memories she has with KSYOA.
