Emma Freeland is a homeschooled senior and first began her violin lessons with Emily McCoy at the age of seven. She has been playing in the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra Association for nine seasons now, studying under Megan Kehren for eight years. Emma also enjoys playing strings in worship settings, whether in an ensemble setting or improvising. Youth leadership and citizenship have also played a major role in her highschool years through her involvement with Tennessee 4-H and TeenPact Leadership Schools. Emma has been accepted to Union University, Trevecca University, and Liberty University, and plans to pursue a pre-medical degree.
