Michael Rodgers has worked with Knox County Schools for 30 years and is currently a Special Education Teacher at Maynard Elementary School and South Knoxville Elementary School. He has performed with the Knoxville Opera, Symphony of the Mountains, Knoxville MLK Commission Choir, Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, and Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, to name a few.

Rodgers is involved in helping and supporting local and regional communities through benefit concerts, financial resources, and educational support. Rodgers currently serves on the Board of Directors with the Knoxville Opera, Joy of Music School, former Westley Foundation, Sigma Beta Club, East TN National Panhellenic Council, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, and Knoxville College National Alumni Association.

Rodgers holds a B.A. from Knoxville College and an M.M. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
