After three years away from his favorite local stages, Jonathan followed some stiletto footprints back to Thomaston to play Charlie Price in Connecticut’s “Kinky Boots” premiere! His performance credits include: Warner Stage Company: “Avenue Q” (Princeton), “The Addams Family” (Lucas); LCT: “Annie” (Bert Healy), “Grease” (Doody), “Hairspray” (Fender); Goshen Players: “It Shoulda Been You” (Brian Howard). Jonathan equally enjoys his time on the production staff as he does on stage. His directorial credits include: Landmark Teen Theatre: “The Who’s Tommy”; Theatre at TCC: “Seussical”, “Into the Woods”, “Oliver!”; Music direction: “Nevermore” (New England premiere production); “Little Shop of Horrors”. Jonathan last appeared Off-Broadway in “A Tribute to Hal Prince” under the direction of Damon Evans with choreographer Pat Birch. He recently graduated with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College. Since 2013, Jonathan has been working as a Production Manager developing Terryville’s first and only community theatre, Theatre at TCC. “So much love and appreciation to my theatre angels, on stage and off, for just be[ing] beautiful!” @jonathanzalaski
