Denim Stanback, a.k.a SHE’J Q’DEE, is a 16-year-old female professional DJ from Philadelphia who has found how to combine her love for music and entrepreneurship. SHE’J Q’DEE decidedshe wanted to become a DJ after watching another young DJ from Philly handle the turntables and select the best music toblow the minds of a room full of adults. She watched over his shoulder and fell in love with the craft. After training & mentoring from seasoned DJs for several months, she was confident she was ready. It’s been a never-ending ride since then. Dee has an old soul and passion for old-school hip hop. Her age doesn’t restrict her from rocking out events of all ages, making her very marketable. Q’DEE is an honor roll Junior at C.A.P.A H.S. where she is a media/film & graphic design major maintaining a 4.0 GPA. From countless in-person bookings & zoom party events initiated by covid 19 restrictions, this young lady has discovered & developed her talent.Dee also battles a kidney disease diagnosed when she was 3. After many many hospitals stays, Dee found comfort in music and has adopted the concept that Music Is My Medicine. With a much better handle on med management, Dee has and will never let her medical condition stop her. She has dreams to chase and a musical future that keeps giving.
