John Downey Creation Project Fellow Nia McCloskey has been playing piano for ten years, cello for eight, and bassoon for six, getting the opportunity to study under various musicians and exposing herself to many unique musical styles. She performs in the cello section of MYSO's Philharmonia.

Flourishing in music with a particular love for composition, she hopes that someday her pieces will reach the corners around the world.
