Colette Wiering
Violin

Colette Wiering, a 13-year-old violinist from Two Rivers, WI, is currently in 9th grade. She is in her fifth year with MYSO and serves as a concertmaster of the Senior Symphony. In 2024, Colette earned the titles of Junior Division Winner and Open Division Grand Winner at the O'Malley Foundation National Concerto Competition. She also won the Madison Symphony Orchestra's 2024 Youth Concerto Competition, performing her solo debut with the orchestra. In 2025, Colette was awarded the Carrie Rondeau Memorial Scholarship as the winner of the Senior Symphony Competition. Colette currently studies violin with Matous Michal and Kees Hulsmann.
