Ilina Joshi is a seventh grader at Brookfield Academy. She started Suzuki violin lessons at age four in Houston,TX with Ms. Stacie Harrington before she moved with her family to Wisconsin in 2014. She has continued her Suzuki training and is currently taking lessons from Mrs. Celestine Fitzgerald at the Barcel Suzuki Strings Academy. In addition to playing the violin, Ilina plays keyboard and composes her own music. She plays as a member of Festival Strings ensemble at Brookfield Academy.

Outside of music she enjoys art and mathematics. Ilina would like to thank all her Suzuki teachers in her music journey: Mrs. Stacie Harrington, Mrs. Janelle Severson, Mrs. Jenna O’Connor-Ross, and Mrs. Fitzgerald.
