Mariana Welsh, 11, is a fifth grader at Bruce Guadalupe Community School. She has played cello since first grade in the Latino Arts Strings Program and plays in the orchestra, a mariachi group, and takes group lessons. She also enjoys being an accompanist at St. Marcus Lutheran Church. When not playing cello, Mari is eagerly reading a book and snuggling with her beloved beagle, Leo.
