Lisa Marie Rogali
mezzo-soprano (Hawley, PA)

Award-winning mezzo-soprano Lisa Marie Rogali has been praised for her “nuanced voice” and “spontaneity” on the stage. Ms. Rogali is quickly establishing herself as a versatile performer of opera, musical theatre, and concert music. Most recently, she was awarded the Silver Medal in the American Traditions Vocal Competition, as well as Third Prize in the Pasadena Vocal Competition. She has performed roles with Minnesota Opera, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Opera Saratoga, and The Glimmerglass Festival. Among other accomplishments, she has been named a winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council District Auditions, a Special Award Winner in the International Lotte Lenya Competition, a recipient of the Gaddes Career Award from OTSL, Second Place in the Carolyn Bailey/Dominick Argento Vocal Competition, and Audience Favorite in the Houston Saengerbund Awards. Ms. Rogali received her M.M. in Vocal Performance from The University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music and her B.M.E. in Music Education from The Pennsylvania State University. This summer, she returns to The Glimmerglass Festival to sing Mercédès in Carmen and to cover Maria in The Sound of Music.
