Mezzo-soprano Jessica Johnson Brock has been seen on stages across the U.S. with companies such as Boston Lyric Opera, Opera Omaha, Aspen Opera Center, Commonwealth Lyric Theater, MetroWest Opera, Opera Providence, Odyssey Opera, and Greensboro Opera. She has performed a wide range of roles including Polinesso (Ariodante), Nettie/Aunt Bea (A Wedding), Mamka (Boris Godunov), Jo (Little Women), La Zia Principessa (Suor Angelica), Madame de la Haltiere (Cendrillon), The Mother (Amahl and the Night Visitors), Juno/Ino (Semele), Third Lady (The Magic Flute), and Dido (Dido and Aeneas). Jessica was a finalist in the Jensen Foundation Vocal Competition and regional finalist in the Upper Midwest Region and New England Region of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Jessica holds a master’s in music from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
