Bianca Fasanelli is a junior vocal performance major from Jacksonville, Florida studying under Dr. Sharon Lawhon at Samford University. Her previous Samford credits include The Magic Flute (ensemble), Amahl and the Night Visitors (principal dancer; dance captain), and scenes from Suor Angelica (Novice) and La Rondine (Bianca). This past summer, she travelled to Verona, Italy to sing at OperaViva!, an opera program focused on training singers for the professional world. At OperaViva!, she had the opportunity to perform in scenes from Le Nozze di Figaro (Marcellina) and L’elisir d’amore (ensemble). Bianca is beyond excited to perform in Opera Birmingham’s Opera Shots!
