soprano

Erica King of Thomasville, GA, is an alumni of Columbus State University and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Erica received her associate’s degree in Fine Arts (2015) and bachelor’s degree in Music Performance (2019). She has been featured in many vocal activities ranging from Choral Day, to recitals, to operas with Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and the Columbus State University, Schwob School of Music.

Erica is a trained performer who has been cast in many operas around the Columbus, GA area, including Mozart’s La Finta Giardinera, Viardot’s Cendrillon, and Ching’s Speed Dating Tonight. She was recently featured as a guest artist with the Columbus State University Singers and Choral Union in Margaret Walker’s, For My People, composed by Randy Klein.

When she is not performing, Erica is a wife and mother. She enjoys puzzles, family time, and traveling. She also teaches voice in Eufaula, AL, as well as sings in her church choir, where her husband is the choirmaster.
