Adreanna Pulliam

Adreanna Pulliam is a senior vocal performance major at Samford University from Jacksonville, Florida. She has performed on Samford’s main stage in The Magic Flute (ensemble) and Amahl and the Night Visitors (Mother) and has been in Samford Opera Workshop roles: Falstaff (Alice), Street Scene (Mrs. Fiorentino), Suor Angelica (Suor Angelica), Street Scene (Rose Maurrant), Hänsel and Gretel (Gretel), and The Magic Flute (Second Lady) with directors Kristin Kenning and Keith Wolf-Hughes. Adreanna has appeared locally in the May Opera Project of The Old Maid and the Thief (Miss Pinkerton) under the direction of DeLee Michiko Benton. She made her solo debut with Opera Birmingham in their 2023 production of The Billy Goats Gruff (Lucy). Adreanna was a finalist in Samford’s 2023 Concerto Aria Competition. She placed second in the 2023 and 2024 Birmingham Music Guild scholarship auditions and received the Dr.Oscar and Ellen Dahlene Scholarship. Adreanna was a soloist in Samford’s annual campus wide “Christmas Around the World” service, in addition to being a soloist for Samford University’s Good Friday Choral Vespers. She is the 2023-2024 Northrup Scholar as well as the 2023 recipient of the Jeff and Lori Northrup Vocal Performance scholarship. Adreanna has just returned from Verona, Italy, where she studied with professors from around the world through the young artist program, OperaViva!
