Caitlyn Walters is a lyric coloratura soprano from Bradenton, Florida known for her sparkling stage presence and electric vocal agility. While singing all her life from church to school to her grandfather’s “oldies” band, Caitlyn began to hone and refine her operatic voice in 2018. Preceding her Opera Birmingham debut as Rusalka are some of her enigmatic performances such as Novizia at the Berlin Opera Academy, Gretel at Opera Naples and Florida Gulf Coast University, and Donna Anna at 7Stages Theatre. Caitlyn is ecstatic for her next role as Franca Nacarelli at Samford University’s Samford Opera, where she is currently earning her Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance.
