Madi is a senior at James Logan High School, playing trombone for five years. Madi plays several genres of music: principal trombone in their school’s Wind Symphony, lead trombone in their school’s Jazz A Ensemble, and principal trombone in the Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra. They have taken part in several ensembles such as the California All-State Honor Band and attended Interlochen Arts Camp during the summer of 2022. Madi is also the head drum major of the James Logan Marching Band and Colorguard, conducting the band throughout rehearsals and performances. Madi aspires to be a professional trombone player and educator.
