Ella Shahn Hagan

Ella (she/her) is a Western Kentucky University graduate with a BFA in Performing Arts: Theatre and a minor in Musical Theatre. Some of her most accomplished roles include Marie Antoinette in The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson, First Lady/Ensemble in Shakespeare’s As You Like It and The Waitress in Boise, Idaho by Sean Michael Welch. Ella Shahn has had the privilege to direct WKU students in scenes from Our Town by Thornton Wilder and Macbeth by William Shakespeare. She has experience as Head of Hair and Makeup in WKU’s production of She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen and has participated as costume crew in many of WKU’s productions. She is currently the music instructor at The HIVE BG. She has taught Feminist Theatre classes as well as Theatre History crash courses at local nonprofits. Ella Shahn is honored to be a part of Ramsey Theatre Company’s Production of Beauty and the Beast.
