David Goodman-Edberg is delighted to be making his debut with Opera Idaho. Based out of Chicago and moving between the worlds of dance, theatrical, and architectural lighting design, his work has been seen in venues from Alaska to Florida to Beijing. Some recent work includes La Cenerentola (Bay View Music Festival); Out of Darkness: Two Remain (Chicago Fringe Opera); A Soldier’s Tale (Eisenhower Dance Detroit & Detroit Chamber Winds);  Ruddigore (Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company Chicago); Lights on Broadway (Grant Park Music Festival); Die Fledermaus! (Opera Mississippi); The Consul (Third Eye Ensemble); and Man vs. Machine & Fixated (Visceral Dance Chicago) as well as work with theater and dance companies in the Chicago and Midwest region. David has also been a longstanding collaborator with Eisenhower Dance Detroit and performance collective Manual Cinema, serving as lighting director for domestic and international tours.
