Cydney is originally from Pensacola, Florida and moved to Boise in 2014 to train at Ballet Idaho’s academy as a pre-professional student. She was hired as an apprentice for Ballet Idaho in 2016, promoted to corps de ballet in 2018, and became a soloist in 2024. She has performed in numerous works during her time in Boise, including Peter Anastos’ Ravel Piano Concerto, George Balanchine’s Agon, and Ricardo Amarante's Carmen. She has also danced in works by Alejandro Cerrudo, Penny Saunders, Johan Inger, Joseph Hernandez, and Robyn Mineko Williams. She made her choreographic debut in 2019 for Ballet Idaho’s NewDance program and created a second piece for their 2021 digital season. Her work See You On The Other Side was performed at the 2021 Treefort Music Festival. 

In 2021 Cydney received a grant from the Alexa Rose Foundation to attend the SHARE Intensive in Paris. She worked with repetiteurs for Sharon Eyal, Peeping Tom, William Forsythe, and Hofesh Shecter. She also dances for contemporary companies Project Flux and LED, directed by Lydia Sakolsy-Basquil and Lauren Edson respectively.
