Patricia Rosandick Thomsen
Supernumerary

Patricia Rosandick Thomsen is thrilled to join Opera Idaho’s production of La Traviata as a supernumerary, merging her lifelong passion for music and opera with the vibrant energy of the stage. A proud Idaho native, Patricia grew up in Caldwell and graduated from the University of Idaho. Her adventurous spirit has taken her far beyond her roots, though always with family at the heart of her journey. She and her husband, Eric, embarked on a dynamic life together, relocating for his U.S. Air Force career to bases in England, Albuquerque, and Tucson, Arizona. Through it all, Patricia embraced full-time motherhood, raising their three children with creativity and care—a role that now brings her immense joy as a grandmother to one “very perfect” granddaughter.

Patricia’s bucket list has been a roadmap of extraordinary feats: she’s traveled to all seven continents, pedaled her bicycle across the United States, and even earned her pilot’s license, proving her thirst for adventure knows no bounds. After Eric’s retirement, the couple returned to Boise, where Patricia continues to seek out new experiences. Her love for the arts, particularly opera, has found a fitting spotlight in this production, where she is delighted to contribute to the magic of live performance.
