As a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory of Music with a Bachelors in Music Performance, Sam Clauter has over 30 years of professional performing and teaching experience.  He is classically trained on clarinets, saxophones and flutes with a strong background in jazz and other styles.  Throughout his career, Sam has performed in various pit orchestras, jazz bands, orchestras and theme parks across the country; as well as being a musician on cruise ships for several years. He has, and continues to perform throughout the Upstate in various ensembles including his new project “Blackwood - Jazz on a Stick”. Sam has been a musician with Glow since the 2013 season.
