Slane (Be Thou My Vision) - Irish Traditional
Arranged by Soon Hee Newbold
Soloists: Evelyn Chen and David Enssle
Slane is an early Irish folk song about Slane Hill located in Ireland. Legend says that in 433 A.D., St. Patrick defied the High King by lighting a flame on Slane Hill during a pagan festival when it was forbidden to have any other fires lit. The tune is better known today as the popular hymn Be Thou My Vision.
