Soundtrax is an SATB-auditioned choir featuring singers from across the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) who meet once a week to explore dynamic and diverse repertoire. This group is part of the Halifax Regional Arts Program, the Halifax Regional Centre for Education's (HRCE) supplementary funded fine arts program. Its purpose is to enhance and support fine arts for all students in the HRM. Recent highlights include performing with Symphony Nova Scotia for Video Games Live and The Music of Queen, as well as being featured on both CBC Maritime Noon as part of their Annual Feed Nova Scotia program and CBC's Mainstreet. Soundtrax is conducted by Frances Farrell and accompanied by Jenny Trites. Soundtrax is a proud member of the Nova Scotia Choral Federation.
