No Scents Makes Sense

Symphony Nova Scotia strives to provide a scent-free environment. We ask you to respect the scent sensitivities and allergies of the music lovers around you, and please refrain from wearing perfumes or other scented products.

Accessibility

We’re committed to making the music accessible to all. If you need assistance at one of our concerts, please don’t hesitate to ask Symphony staff or an usher! Here are some key things to note about accessibility at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium:

  • Uniformed ushers are available to help you find your seats and direct you to available amenities, like free-of-charge infrared listening aids or ear plugs.
  • The Dalhousie Arts Centre is equipped with a wheelchair accessible ramp to the front doors and automatic doors to assist in entering the building. When purchasing tickets, please be sure to let the Box Office know that you’ll require a wheelchair seat for the performance.
  • Washrooms are available on the second and fourth floors of the Arts Centre, accessible via the stairs or the elevator across from the Box Office.

Here are some key things to note about accessibility at St. Andrew’s United Church:

  • St. Andrew’s is currently only wheelchair and walker accessible at the Coburg and Robie Street entrance. We are currently working with the city to improve upon this.
  • An accessible bathroom is available on the house left, down the ramp, and across.
