There is a sheer sense of sonic and energetic presence in the piece Cyclus for orchestra from 2007. The work makes use of a variety of interpretive freedoms: improvisation on given models, polyphony of tempos and temporal layers, and other kinds of decidedly non-integrated tone dispositions. In addition, some segments of the ensemble are distributed in space, which undermines the compactness of the music and projects it into a panorama.
