Charlotte Forknall recently graduated from Dalhousie University, after studying Voice Performance with Dr. Christina Haldane and pianist Michael Rose. Charlotte has been a regular fixture in DalOpera productions throughout her degree, and has been featured in roles such as First Witch in the double bill of Dido and Aneas and Rolfe’s Aneas and Dido, and Prince Orlofsky in the punchy digital opera production of Die Fledermaus.
In 2021/22 Charlotte took on the prominent role of the mischievous Robin in the DalOpera production of A Northern Lights Dream. In 2022, Charlotte is preparing for her graduating recital, appearing as Kate in Gilbert & Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance with COSA Canada, and premiering the ensemble piece Capture by Cecilia Livingston, commissioned by the Fountain School of Performing Arts.
Charlotte is thrilled to make her debut with Symphony Nova Scotia this season.
