Gay returns to The Nutcracker as an original cast member and is delighted to have been a part of the magic every December. Some of her favourite stage roles have been performed at Eastern Front Theatre, Ship’s Company Theatre, the Grand Theatre (London, Ontario), Festival Antigonish, Mulgrave Road Theatre, Live Bait Theatre, and Neptune Theatre. Gay has worked in film, television, and radio, and was awarded the ACTRA Maritimes Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Female Role 2020 in Diggstown Season 1. Gay also works as an arts consultant for Strategic Arts Management, and as the administrator for the Upstream Music Association. She wishes to thank everyone she has had the privilege of working with who has made Clara’s dream a reality every Christmas over the past 30 years.
