Sébastien Labelle is thrilled to be joining Symphony Nova Scotia for the first time. Sébastien is an accomplished stage and screen actor who has performed locally with Halifax Theatre for Young People, Eastern Front Theatre, Villains’ Theatre, Matchstick Theatre, Mocean Dance, Zuppa, Workshirt Opera, Shakespeare By the Sea, 2b Theatre, and Two Planks and a Passion Theatre. Screen credits include Sullivan’s Crossing, The Good House, Chapelwaite, Diggstown, and Black Cop. Sébastien is also the Executive Director of the Bus Stop Theatre Co-op, Festival Director of Mayworks K’jipuktuk/Halifax, and a creative collaborator for the River Clyde Pageant. In a funny twist of fate, he also used to be a union organizer for SEIU Local 2, where he helped janitors form unions through the Justice for Janitors campaign. Always thank those who clean after us and have a very merry holiday season!
