Aaron Limon Salas is a dancer, choreographer, and educator with a passion for adventure and travel. Aaron discovered his love for the arts at an early age and this drove him to seek out opportunities in his hometown, San Antonio, TX. There he had the opportunity to work with Erica Wilson and was a member of Edison Dance Company and Samba Vida Dance Company. Aaron continued to pursue dance in higher education at Virginia Commonwealth University where he earned his BFA. While in Virginia, he had the pleasure of working with Scott Putman in Richmond. In college he also participated in ADF’s Student Dance Intensive from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, Aaron did repertory work with Mark Haim and in 2013, he participated in Footprints choreographed by Leonie Mcdonagh. Aaron continued to pursue repertory work again in 2017 when he danced in a piece choreographed by Liz Lerman. Along with working locally, Aaron also danced internationally in Paris, France, with Yanis Marshall. After graduating, Aaron relocated to Durham, NC, where he worked with Michelle Gibson. Now, Aaron is a part of the ADF family working as the School Operations Coordinator where he helps other aspiring dancers forge their path through the American Dance Festival.
