Independent movement choreographer, producer, and videographer from Valencia, Spain, currently based in Madrid. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Rambert School in Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London, a bachelor degree in Audiovisual and Show Production from IPFMadrid, and a Higher Degree in Choreography and Performance from the Superior Dance Conservatory of Madrid. Her pieces have toured in several places in Southern Europe and through different dance platforms. She has received various awards such as young critical, audience award, resident choreographer at DANTZAZ Company award, as well as various residencies through choreography competitions in Spain. Through Certamen Coreográfico de Madrid, Elena received an award and grant to come to ADF to be a part of International Choreographers Residency Program. Elena's creative game works around visual dramaturgies and versatile ways of movement to investigate the dehumanization of the body.
