Emrose Seidenberg (she/they) is a dancer, actor, singer, and circus artist based in Chicago. She is currently a senior undergraduate at the five college consortium in Amherst, MA, and studies critical social theory along with her training in dance. Emrose has worked as a professional actor in the Chicago Metropolitan area and more recently fell in love with the dance community. She began training in hand-balancing and aerial acrobatics during the quarantine of 2020 and now enjoys coaching acrobatics and strength training to anyone interested in spending time upside down. Emrose would like to thank her mentors Lauren Cox, Shakia Barron, and of course, the incredible Tatiana Desdardouin. She would like to express special thanks to dance pioneer Caleaf Sellers, who personally sparked Emrose’s passion for the music, dance, and culture of house. She would also like to thank her family and Cable for supporting her in this wild dance journey!
