Simone Grant is an artist based in Richmond, VA. Currently pursuing her BFA in Dance and Choreography at Virginia Commonwealth University, she eagerly anticipates her graduation in the fall semester of 2023. Throughout her years at VCU, Simone had the incredible opportunity to perform for artists such as Charles Anderson, MiKayla Young, and McKenzie Page. These experiences have shaped her artistic journey and allowed her to grow as a performer. In addition to her dedication to dance, Simone also explores her passion for film by creating and editing videos in her free time. She continuously hones her skills, aiming to enhance her artistic expression through this medium. Simone's commitment extends beyond the stage, as she actively engages with various campus organizations. She is a general NAACP chapter member at VCU and the Service Chair for the VCU Flyest Organization. Furthermore, Simone showcased her versatile skills as the social media coordinator for Énouement Socials, and she even hosted the Énouement podcast as part of her year-round senior capstone project. Simone expresses gratitude and thanks to Tatianna Desardouin and Dan Datcu for casting her in their awe-inspiring pieces. She feels deeply honored to have had the opportunity to work with them and looks forward to future artistic endeavors. Eager to broaden her horizons, Simone is open to exploring opportunities beyond Virginia. She is excited to see what the future holds as she embarks on this next chapter.
