Yu Cheng Cheng is the eldest member of Resident Island Dance Theatre, born in 1968. He had poliomyelitis when he was a child and lost more activity and moving ability after a car accident in his 40s. He has been selling lottery tickets in front of a local post office for more than 20 years of his career. In 2017, he joined a disabled-performing training project founded by the Peace Foundation, Pingtung. In 2019, he participated in a training of the performance course with Resident Island Dance Theatre. In 2020, he became a member of the company and toured Ice Age for more than 40 shows. Yu Cheng is also a teaching assistant for the inclusive art program.
