Lily Gelfand is a Brooklyn-based dancer, cellist, and teaching artist originally from Youngstown, OH. Gelfand received a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Ohio University in Athens, OH, in 2018. She has been a company member with David Dorfman Dance since 2018 and is a dance accompanist on staff at The Juilliard School, working to balance both her movement and sound-making practices. As a cellist, she has had the pleasure of collaborating and composing with Michael Wall, Jasmine Hearn, and Christina Robson as well as live scoring for NPR's Radio Diaries. Her favorite color is green.
