Hannah Haverkamp graduated from Beloit College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Studio Art. After several years working in both theater and illustration, she returned to school in 2019 and received her Master of Fine Arts in costume design from the University of Illinois in 2023. Hannah’s career has taken her from the green hills of Wales to the driftless area of Wisconsin and the arid mountains of Colorado and Santa Fe. She currently teaches costume courses and manages the costume shop at Duke University in Durham, NC. Her artwork continues to revisit themes of identity construction through clothing and music and explores the links between the contemporary and historical creation of the self through community.
