Henry Carroll, a recent graduate of Enloe High School in Raleigh, NC, began his modern dance career under the guidance of Katherine Champion, Rebecca McRae, and Chania Wilson. In May 2023, he began his apprenticeship under Artistic Director Michelle Pearson at Black Box Dance Theatre, where he performed and trained in the greater Raleigh area. Henry is passionate about integrating anatomy and dance history into his movement practices and values building meaningful connections through dance. This fall, he will further his academic and dance career at Virginia Commonwealth University as a member of the Honors College, pursuing a BFA in Dance and Choreography.
