Alexa Boyles (they/she) is a native Virginian dance artist and achieved their BFA in Dance from Shenandoah Conservatory in May 2024. Throughout their collegiate time, Alexa has been fortunate to perform in numerous faculty, guest artists, and student works. Alexa is interested in utilizing choreography as an avenue to examine the world and was selected to showcase their solo choreography, Dissonance, at the ACDA Mid-Atlantic North Conference in Slippery Rock, PA, in March of 2022, and their group ensemble, i swallow your heart and you make me spit it up again., at the ACDA Mid-Atlantic South Conference at Meredith College in March of 2024. Alexa is excited to pursue all avenues of their dance career by exploring their performance capabilities and challenging their artistic voice.
