Emma Yeager started dancing in Syracuse, NY. Graduating summa cum laude, she holds a BA in Dance from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a double minor in Biology and Health Professions and a Level 1 Certification in Shin Somatics® Methods from the EastWest Somatics Institute. Emma was awarded the Whittier Prize in Dance (2024). As an undergrad, Emma collaborated with Donna Davenport on L/BMA research and aesthetic education. She served as an administrative assistant for the 8th and 9th Somatic Dance Conferences and the 23rd Bill Evans Teachers Intensive under the direction of Cynthia Williams. This past year, Emma was Co-President of Kinetic Dance Collective, the largest student club on campus. Emma is thrilled for this opportunity to perform at ADF and work with astounding choreographer Kate Weare!
