Heather Dutton is a Brooklyn-based choreographer, educator, and performer with a BA in Dance (choreography and education) from Muhlenberg College. Their work has been shown at Here Arts Center, Dixon Place, the Tank, Spark Theater Festival, the Koresh Come Together Dance Festival, The Craft NYC, LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, and more. Their creative practice is informed by their background in theater, comedy, and gender studies and is driven by the ambition of making work that gives you something to laugh at and something to think about. She is particularly interested in themes of identity, queerness, intimacy, and the universal but completely singular experience of having a body. She is deeply grateful to ADF for all of the ways that it has fed her creative life through the years and is honored to be sharing her work with this community.
