Ashley was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts and started dancing at the age of three. She took lessons from her father and mother, owners of the Smith-Houlihan Irish Dance Academy. Ashley was crowned the World Irish Step Dancing Champion in Belfast, Ireland, in 2004, at that time being the youngest American female ever to win the world title.She then went on to win two more World Championship titles as well as Four All Ireland Championship titles, and later was seen as a top 30 female finalist on season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance. Ashley continues to study, teach and choreograph all dance forms, and is excited to be returning home to the Celtic Sojourn family and is honored to be Directing and Choreographing the dance portion of the show this year. This show is dedicated to her new son Logan Michael Wallace!
