Megan Wolffe, a Gloucester native, is thrilled to be back on Cape Ann after spending the last 4 years between Salt Lake City, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada establishing her Amy Winehouse tribute act, Back to Black LIVE, and raising her two young children with husband Leighton. Since her return, Wolffe has resumed career activities with multiple projects and performed to sold out audiences across the greater Boston area. She is one of the leading members of the local 80’s dance band SAFETY as well as a featured vocalist with the band Dyer Goodwin Chakour (members of Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Robert Palmer), the latter of which she performed a 28 date European tour with their Joe Cocker legacy project, Mad Dogs Unchained. Megan is also an accomplished songwriter and recording artist. Her debut original album “That Girl” (2017) co-written and produced with local guitarist/producer Jon Butcher, features her versatile vocal range and raw, honest, autobiographical story telling. Megan is known for her captivating stage presence and commanding voice. She draws you in from the very first note, and holds you till the last crescendo, weaving the audience in and out of improvised melodies and cascading rhythms of blues, jazz, and pop. She is delighted to be returning for her third Divas performance at the Shalin Liu Performance Center.
